The Ferrari Testarossa was the car of choice of among the elite in the 80's. It was the perfect symbol of the excess of the decade. It was a great car whose design matched its speed and the fact that it was genuinely a good car. In 1981, Ferrari started to develop the engine for the Testarossa (type F113A), which would become a 4942 cc flat-12 and with four valves per cylinder it produced 390 HP (Euro) or 380 HP (US). Before the real production started, they tested about 20 engines. |
