The look is based on Ford's "New Edge" design, which combines round shapes with hard, straight edges sharply intersecting. This look has already been applied to the 99 and up Mercury Cougar, and to some extent, the 98 and up Lincoln Town Car. More Ford vehicles are on the way with this look, so get used to it.
