The Cadillac Motor Company has a great history. Did you know that Cadillac was the first production automobile to use, amongst others, a distributor, power steering, and a synchromesh transmission. Henry M. Leland, was the founder of Cadillac. It all started in 1902 when Henry M. Leland and Robert C. Falconer started an automobile business named after the French founder of Detroit, Antoine de la Mothe Cadillac.
